Sammy passed away peacefully on Friday, October 2, 2020 at Algoma Residential Community Hospice (ARCH) with his family at his side.
Sam was the son of the late Thelma May. He was the brother of Diane (Milton) Mckinnon, Marlene (Dean) Avery, Jim (Anne) May, Shelley (John) Goulet, and the late Stephen May.
Sam was a loving uncle to Martin (Connie) Broks, Andrew (Erin) Broks, Melanie (Sean) Zimmerman, Ken Avery, Bobbie-Lynn Avery, Chelsea Goulet, Jonathan (Hayley) Goulet, Stephen Robert May, and Derek May. Great Uncle to Garrett, Rylie, Elijah, Van Logan, Gibson, and Chace. Sam was a great friend of Phil Bumbaco and Tony Reda.
He has touched many people and will be remembered by all who knew him. Family and friends are invited to Arthur Funeral Home - Barton & Kiteley Chapel (492 Wellington St. E 705-759-2522) for a Celebration of Sam's Life on Thursday, October 8, 2020 from 6 pm - 8 pm. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made (payable by cheque or online) to ARCH.
