Passed away suddenly at home in Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario on March 21 at the age of 33.
Survived by his adored children Ryder Maxwell and Maverick Maxwell (Mel).
Cherished son of Riahha Maxwell and loving brother to Heather Young, Katrina Cugun-Maxwell and Gavin Winnington-Ingram. Uncle to Tatiana, Beckett, Hunter and Aunna. Grandson to Gregory Lindsay and the late Shirley Maxwell. Steffen leaves behind many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
Steffen had a big heart and would do anything to help protect his family and friends. His life wasn’t always easy, but during troubled times, he knew he always had his family’s support. He had a special bond with each of his siblings, always looking out for them and them for him. He loved his family deeply.
We love you Steffen. Our lives without you will never be the same. Our hearts our broken. Your wings were ready, but our hearts were not. May your spirit live on in us and your soul Rest in Peace my son, until we meet again. You are our Angel in heaven keep us safe.
Family and friends are welcome to join us for a Celebration of Life for Steffen at the Elks Lodge (216 Bay St, SSM) on Sunday April 7th, 2024 from 1:00 pm - 6:00 pm. Steffen will be layed to rest in August along with his Grama Shirley.
