Peacefully, surrounded by her family, our brave and courageous mother and grandmother passed away on Wednesday, May 7, 2003 at the Plummer Memorial Hospital. Beloved wife of the late Ray Mattioli. Cherished mother of Donna Simard (Laurence), Carla Alexander (Tom), Randy (Janice), Roger (Pia), Janice and Debra Mattioli. Loving Grandma of Christa Wright (Darren), Andrea (Gord) and Rick Mattioli, Marie Laure (Chris) and Raymonde Simard, Kim Weatherman (Brett), Carolyn Alexander (David) and Dana Mattioli Very special great grandma of Amanda, Cole, Noah, Sophie and Leah. Predeceased by her brothers and sisters Adeline Miller, William Zappacosta, Lisa Durkin, Alfred Zappacosta and Nora Hales. Special sister-in-law of the late Nancy Maki. Fondly remembered by Al (Lynn) Zappacosta and many nieces and nephews. Friends may call at the Arthur Funeral Home & Cremation Centre on Friday, May 9 from 7:00 to 9:00 pm. The funeral mass will be celebrated on Saturday, May 10 at 10:00 am at Precious Blood Cathedral with Rev. Ray Sullivan officiating. Interment at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
