It is with great sorrow that we announce the passing of Danny Matte at the Lady Dunn Health Centre, Wawa on Sunday, April 10, 2005. Danny, born February 5th, 1928 in Ormiston, Sask., beloved husband for 55 years of Gilberte "Gil" Matte. Loving father of Linda Hill (David) of Sault Ste. Marie, Roland (Jacqui) of Thunder Bay and Tamara Liddle (Gerry) of Wawa. Loved grandfather of Danny (Veronique) and Ryan Hill, Adam Medwick, Jordan, Colton, Paige and Jared Liddle. Great grandfather of Jordan. Predeceased by his parents David Matte and Jean Tessier-Matte and his brothers Roland and Raymond Matte. Special uncle of Michelle Simpson (David), Joanne Guerette (Paul), Susan Matte and David Matte (Maryanne). A Memorial Funeral Service will be celebrated at St. Monica's Church on Thursday, April 14th, 2005 at 11:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Lady Dunn Long Term Care Fund would be appreciated by the family.
