MATHISON, ELIZABETH (BETTE)

Peacefully, after a long illness Elizabeth (Bette) Mathison passed away at the Sault Area Hospital on Friday February 17, 2012, in her 83_^rd year. Beloved wife of Garnet Mathison and loving mother of Jayne Griffith, Randy (Jennifer), Tracy (Cindy) and Jennifer (Chad Stevens) and the late Gary (Vicki) Mathison. Dear grandmother of David (Erin), Michael, Catherine, Heather (Brad), Bradley, Amy, Gregory, Shane (Britney), Courtney-Jayne, Christyne (Josh), Sam, Cole, Jessica, Zachary and Hailey. Great grandmother of Tarin, Haleigh, Max, Gavin, Gabriella, Corrie, Gary and Noah. Bette is also survived by her brothers Maurice (Carole) and Tom Martin and was predeceased by John (Bernie), Kay (late Ray) and Marion (Paul). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews. In keeping with Bette’s wishes there will be no visitation. Cremation will be followed by private family funeral services. If desired, donations to the Renal Dialysis Unit at S. A. H. would be appreciated.
