Passed away peacefully with her husband by her side at Brampton Civic Hospital on Friday, December 15, 2023 in her 82nd year.

Beloved wife of Leo Jr. Loving mother of Terri Adams (late Terry Marcoux) and the late Jim and Blane Adams. Stepmother of Andrew Masse (Elina). Proud grandmother of Anndrea (Jeremy), Ryan, Kyle and Veyda and great-grandmother of Ethan. Sister-in-law of Brenda Masse, Linda Mullin (Bill), Lynne Reid (Bill) and Jeanette Fogal. Lovingly known as "Auntie Barb" to her nieces and nephews.

Barb cherished spending time with her loved ones. She rarely missed an opportunity to celebrate life's big moments with her family and friends. Barb's smile, laugh, and feisty wit could make any event memorable. But most of all, Barb loved the time spent with her Butch. They enjoy the simple things in life, like cheering on the Blue Jays or watching a tennis match. In her mind, it didn't matter what they were doing, as long as they were together.

Barb also enjoyed spending many summers and winters in Sault Ste. Marie with her beloved northern family. She especially cherished the time spent with her beloved mother-in-law Joan. The bond they shared was truly that of mother and daughter.

Barb was known for her dedication and strong work ethic. She proudly worked for 28 years as a QA supervisor at Plastic Moulders. Her attention to detail also led her to become the lead auditor on the accreditation team. She also formed many special friendships during her time there. Including meeting the love of her life, Leo.

Family and friends are invited to gather at the Arthur Funeral Home – Barton & Kiteley Chapel (492 Wellington Street East, 705-759-2522) on Saturday, June 1, 2024 between 11:45 am - 12:45 pm. The Celebration of Life will take place at 1:00 pm with Rev. Helen Smith officiating. Following the service, interment will take place at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, where Barb will be laid to rest with her mother-in-law Joan. Memorial contribution may be made (by cheque or online) to the Alzheimer Society - Sault Ste. Marie would be appreciated. Expressions of sympathy may be made at www.arthurfuneralhome.com
