On Sunday, February 25, 2024, Bob Mason passed away suddenly with his family by his side at the age of 52. Survived by his loving wife, Lori. Cherished father of Aleesha Martin (Tony), Hunter Mason (Ashley) and Tucker Mason.  Adored Pa of Zoë and Willow. 

Born August 5, 1971, son to Late Jim Mason (Jo) and AnneMarie Bailey (Bruce), Bob will be fondly remembered by his siblings; Lee Mason, Stacey Mason (Sarah), Melissa LeClair (Andy), Trevor Brock (Kecia), Bethany Brock (Raphael), and Cameron Brock (Sarah).  Beloved Son-in-law of Ken and Teresa Vince. Cherished Brother-in-law of Heather Pino.

Ruggedly hardworking all his life, Bob enjoyed his careers as a heavy equipment mechanic, his time as a volunteer firefighter and his later found passionate for schooling for his final chosen career of HVAC. As a young man, when he wasn’t working, he could be found playing ball, golfing, fishing and hunting with family and friends, building and adapting all types of machines and enjoying what life brought to him. 

Bob was a proud family man. He enjoyed watching his grandchildren grow so much he and his family moved to the East Coast to be a great part of their lives. Although he greatly missed his son, Hunter who stayed in Ontario.  He was also close with his east coast and Ontario nieces and nephews: Sydney, Rory, Carter, Greg (Mel), Kyle, Jadon, Brennan (Colleen), Nick (Haley), Nate, Peyton, Mallory, Emma, Zach (Kiwi), Andie, Sophie, and Jackson,

We would like to thank the doctors, paramedics, firefighters, responders, and nurses who managed Bob’s final hours. To all of our friends and family, thank you for being such a big support for us all and being there during these hard times, we love you.

Cremation has taken place, and a private celebration of Bob’s life was held with his family present.  Memorial contributions to the family (cheques or e-transfers donations to the family) to help during this sudden and tragic time would be greatly appreciated.
