Peacefully at the Algoma Residential Community Hospice on Monday, February 1, 2010 at the age of 69 years. Beloved husband of Ellen. Dear father of Melinda (LaFleur) Martineau, Michael Martineau (Bobi-Jo) and Tom Martineau all of Sault Ste. Marie. Grandfather of Nathan and Courtney LaFleur, Marija Martineau, Waylon and Eamonn Rushon Martineau. Son of the late Clarence and Helen Martineau. Brother of Mary Wheeler (Jack), Dan Martineau (late Una), Greta Rydall (Barry), Lyle Martineau (Sharon) and John Martineau (Cheryle). Son-in-law of the late William (Bill) and Isabella Courtney. Brother-in-law of Henry Courtney and the late John Courtney (Heather). Friends may call at the Arthur Funeral Home & Cremation Centre on Wednesday, February 3, 2010 from 6-9 pm. Funeral service will be celebrated in the chapel on Thursday, February 4, 2010 at 3 pm. Miss Alicia Dumas officiating. Interment Greenwood Cemetery.
