MARTIN, Loraine Louise (nee Barsanti)

After a brief battle with breast cancer, Loraine Martin passed away on Thursday, July 21, 2016 at the age of 71. Born in Sault Ste. Marie, Loraine was the daughter of the late Sergio and Pauline Barsanti. Beloved wife of Jack Martin. Mother of Rae Ann Fera (Chris Harris) and Daniel (Juline) Fera. Grandmother of Bronwyn Harris and Gabriella Fera. Sister of Loris (Gail) Barsanti and the late Raymond Barsanti. Sister-in-law of Jane Barsanti. A mom to many in her 27 years as a foster parent and an open-hearted friend to all who knew her, Loraine was a woman of great generosity and living proof that you never run out of love; that there is more than enough for everyone. Loraine was laid to rest at Zion Cemetery in Marmora. Donations to Maple Creek Community Church, where her son Daniel is Reverend, would be appreciated by the family.
