It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of our mother, Phyllis Marinelli who died peacefully surrounded by her loved ones on Wednesday, February 21, 2007. Phyllis, 82 years young. Dear mother of Nicolene Aymar (Robert) and Philip (Franca). Loving grandmother of her precious Stephen, Chris, Matt and Phil. Dear sister of Edith Chaimbrone (late Angelo) and the late Tony Paolucci (Josephine). Daughter of the late Frank and Elodia Paolucci. Grandma Phyl will be sadly missed by her nieces, nephews and countless friends. Friends may call at the Northwood Funeral Home (942 Great Northern Road 945-7758) on Friday evening from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. Funeral mass and committal service at Precious Blood Cathedral on Saturday, February 24, 2007 at 10:00 a.m. with Monsignor Bernard Burns officiating. Memorial donations made to the Sault Area Hospital - Renal Unit would be appreciated by the family. Phyllis was a tireless volunteer with a special gift for reaching out to others. Whether bowling or baseball, dancing or hockey, one constant remains: a wonderful smile that was her hallmark reminding all of us to stay forever 'young at heart.' A very special thank you to Dr. Berry and the wonderful nurses of the dialysis unit of the Plummer Hospital who aided in her courageous battle. Thank you. We have all been blessed by her kindness, strength and her incredible courage.
