Passed away peacefully with her husband and children by her side at the F.J. Davey Home on Sunday, February 5, 2023, at the age of 83.

She is survived by her loving husband of 61 years, Aldo. Beloved mother of her sons; Martin (Doris), Robert (Christine) and Michael (Anita). Cherished “Nana” of Brye-Anne (Pawel), Reilly (Jean-Diar), Courtney, Michaela, and Jacob. Great Grandmother of Zofia. She is the daughter of the late George and Maria Erdelyan and sister to the late Joanne Gabriele (John). Sister-in-law of the late Joan Maycock (late Harry Maycock) (late Nick Stadnyk), Sheila Tomchak (late Richard), Phyllis Graham (Roy), late Irma Kustura (late James), and Joseph (Nancy). Adored aunt to many nieces and nephews in the Sault and southern Ontario.

Kathy was born and raised in Windsor On., and it was there that she met Aldo. In 1959, she moved to the Sault. They were married in 1962 where they raised their three boys.

Kathy worked as a secretary for the Catholic School Board for many years. She then changed her profession and became a Health Care Aid at the F.J. Davey Home where she worked until retirement.

Ask anybody, and they will say that her greatest joy in life was her family and her grandchildren, and she cherished the times that centered on cooking for them. She was most notably remembered for her “Pizza Saturdays” and her “Cinnamon Buns”.

Special thanks from Aldo and the family go to Michelle, Tammy, Cathy, Tara, Ndaka, Jay, Barb and Ravi and the rest of the staff on Cedar 1 at the Davey Home for their excellent care that was given to her. Kathy’s sons would like to thank the staff of Cedar 1 for the compassion, care, love and friendship that you all showed toward our dad. It helped us all know that he was being taken care of as well.

Family and friends are invited to O’Sullivan Funeral Home and Cremation Centre on Thursday February 9, 2023, from 1:30 until the time of the service in the chapel at 3:00p.m. with Father Jeff Shannon officiating.
