The family announces the passing of their mother Ellen on Thursday, February 17, 2011 at the FJ Davey Home in her 90th year. Beloved wife of the late George Maltman (1983). Beloved mother of Patricia Korbut (Ivan), Maureen Zodrow (Gunter), Catherine Caverly (Barry), David Maltman (Bonnie) and the late Peter Maltman (1974). Dear grandmother of Kimberly Korbut, Tricia Bumbacco (Chris), late Alexander Korbut (1995), Michael Zodrow, Monica Caughill (Tyler), Janet Seymour, Jody Caverly, Melissa Davis (Bob) and Amy Maltman. Great grandmother of Evan, Ethan and Noah Korbut, Keira Bumbacco, Jake Caughill, Zak Zodrow, Lauren Sherrard-Caverly, Josh Sherrard-Caverly, Courtney Seymour and Jake Seymour. Predeceased by her parents Arthur and Margaret Chapman of Cloudslee. Survived by her brothers Victor Chapman (late Verna), Stanley Chapman (late June) and Willard Chapman (late June). Predeceased by sisters Mary Robinson (late Richard) and Mildred Shackleton (late Jim). Predeceased by brothers Albert Chapman (late Betty), Arthur Chapman (late Eileen), Harold Chapman (late Eva), Grant Chapman and Robert Lawrence (late Leta). Predeceased by sister in law Dorothy Nelson. Remembered by many nieces and nephews. Honouring mother’s wishes, cremation has taken place. A graveside memorial will be held in the spring at the Cloudslee Cemetery. Memorial donations in Ellen’s honour may be made to Central United Church or Cloudslee United Church.
