Surrounded by the love of his family, Bob passed away at the Sault Area Hospital on Sunday, March 13, 2011 at the age of 69 years. Beloved husband and protector of Dawn-Marie (nee Yadivisiak). Proud and loving dad of Rob (Stephanie) of Brockville, Michael (Katie) of Sault Ste. Marie and Kelly Grundy (Randy) of Kingston. Poppa will live on in the cherished memories of Jenna, Ashlyn, Emma, Declan and Kieran Malone, Caitlin and Chelsea Grundy. Son of the late James and Dorothy (Hamel) Malone Sr. Brother of Jim (Lillian), Patti Cuncic (Bob) and Martha Sagle (Mike). Cherished son-in-law of Dorothy and the late Rev. Mr. Ted Yadivisiak. Bob leaves behind many nieces, nephews and treasured friends, especially Ab and Lynne McKinley, Kevin McAndrew, Jerry Nichols and Nick Bellinger. He was an expert lawn keeper and master gardener-in-training with the cleanest GM vehicles in the neighbourhood. Family and friends are invited to visit at Northwood Funeral Home Cremation & Reception Centre (942 Great Northern Road 705-945-7758) on Wednesday evening from 6 to 9 p.m. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Precious Blood Cathedral on Thursday, March 17, 2011 at 11 a.m. with Father Hamish Currie officiating. Interment at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. As an expression of sympathy, memorial donations to the SAH-Cancer Care Fund or Precious Blood Cathedral Building Fund would be appreciated by the family.
