It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Barbara, in her fifty-first year, peacefully, after a courageous battle with cancer, with her family at her side, in Sarasota, Florida, 1 April, 2005. Dearly loved wife and cherished friend of William Maki, devoted and caring mother of daughter Andrea and son Adam. Loving daughter of Otto and Hanna Berg of Vineland, Ontario. Barbara was an honor graduate of Sault College. She devotedly labored at her vocation as a Registered Nurse in the Intensive Care Units of Sault Ste. Marie and Sarasota. She will be sorely missed, for she touched and helped many lives on her short journey through time. A memorial service will be held at the Arthur Funeral Home & Cremation Centre in June. Announcement pending. Donations to the Canadian Cancer Society in her memory would be appreciated.
