Peacefully at home surrounded by family and friends on Saturday, May 11, 2019 at the age of 56.
Loving father of Victoria Maitland (Marco). He will be missed by his girl friend Betty Pokno. Son of the late Betty Lou Ervin, late Alvin Maitland and the late John "Jack" Ervin. Dear brother of Glenna Gagnon (Danny), late Karen Maitland, late Darcey Maitland, Shelley Ervin, Chris Ervin (Kelly), Patty Ervin (Brad Harrington) and John Ervin (Sylvie Tremblay). Pernell will be remembered by many nieces and nephews. Special friend of Linda Auger, Bruce Fahrer and Allan McDonald.
A Celebration of Pernell's life will be held on Saturday, May 25, 2019 at the Legion in Thessalon from 1 pm to 5 pm. Memorial donations (payable by cheque) to the Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family. The family would like to thank Jill Driver and Riahha Maxwell from Bay Shore for their compassionate care.
