MacWILLIAM, Shane Wilfred Roderick

Peacefully in his sleep at home in Montreal River on July 30, 2009, Shane was set free at the young age of 54 years. Beloved husband and soul mate of Dorothy (nee Lawson) for 37 years. Son of the late Morris and Diane MacWilliam. Loving and caring father of Cedar Dewar (Robert), Rainy
MacWilliam (Melanie) and Chancy MacWilliam (Melissa). Loving Grampa of Angus Shane, Nairn Chance and Calli Rayne. Best friend and brother of Mark (Susan), Blaine
(Suzanne), Craig (Charlotte), Jeff (Charlene), Dee (John) and Scott (Janeen). Loving uncle of many nieces and nephews. Shane was a hard working man who lived for his
children, grandchildren and wife. He had a passion for the outdoors and loved to hunt, fish and trap. He was especially proud of the many accomplishments of his
children and grandchildren. One's life was never the same after meeting him, he always had a lending hand and a wealth of outdoor experience - no one can ever take
the place of our "Daddy", husband, Grampa and father-in-law. A private family service will be held at the Arthur Funeral Home & Cremation Centre. Memorial contributions to Algoma Residential Community Hospice (ARCH) or the charity of your choice would be greatly appreciated by the family. Shane will be sadly missed by his friends and family. Until we meet again Dad, may God hold you in the palm of his hand.
