Geraldine MacLeod passed away peacefully at Lapointe-Fisher Nursing home, Guelph, Ontario on Tuesday March 26, 2002 at the age of 84 years. Beloved wife of the late Neil MacLeod. Dear mother of Lorna Slock (late Fred) of Guelph. Dear sister of Merritt (Pat), John, Ernest (Peggy), and Charles (Betty) Strum all of Bruce Mines, Donald (the late Ethelda) Strum of Sudbury and the late Ralph, Lorne, Albert, twins Edward and Frederick (in infancy), Edith Huntington, and Bernice Bondett. Much loved "Auntie Geri" of numerous nieces and nephews. Friends will be received at the Barton & Kiteley Funeral Home on Sunday, March 31 from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. Funeral service will be held in the chapel on Monday, April 1 at 11:00 a.m. the Very Reverend Garry Dobinson officiating. Cremation followed by spring inurnment at Sands Cemetery, Mount Zion. Memorial contributions to the Plummer Memorial Hospital or a charity of your choice would be appreciated.
