At the Sault Area Hospital, General Site on Thursday May 18, 2006. John MacLean of Little Rapids in his 87th year, husband of the late Margaret "Peggy" MacLean. Dear son of the late Peter and Christie MacLean. Loving father of Mary Baldwin (Mark) of New Liskeard, Peter (Cindy) of Little Rapids and Helen Smith (Ray) of Sault Ste. Marie. Special grandfather to Douglas, Ross (Tammy), Richard, John, Gerald, Christie and Christopher. Proud great-grandpa of Grace. Dear brother of Diamond Kirby (late Bill) of Thessalon and the late Florence, Margaret, Stanley, Chester, Jean, Peter (Joyce), and Angus. Resting at the Beggs Funeral Home, Thessalon where friends may call on Sunday, May 21, 2006 from 2-4 and 7-9pm. Funeral service at Little Rapids United Church on Monday May 22 at 11am. Interment in Pine Grove Cemetery. Donations to the little Rapids United Church, The Masonic Foundaton of Ontario or the charity of your choice gratefully accepted.

Members of the Masonic order are requested to assemble at the funeral home on Sunday at 6:45 for a memorial service for their late Very Worshipful Brother John MacLean.
