Passed away peacefully with family by her side at Extendicare Maple View on Wednesday, December 21, 2022 at the age of 91.

Predeceased by her husband Robert MacKay and son Scott (Mary). Mother of Bruce, Danny (Louise), Janice, Charlie (Anne), Andy (Leslie) and dear friend of Ruth Galinis (Brian). Gramma "Gran" to Allison (Andrew), Jordy (Erin), Kealy (Robin), Kyle, Elizabeth (Matt), Robert (Britney), and Justin, Great Gramma "Gran" to Riley, Reese, Kai, Eila, Murray, and Maggie and Great Great Gran to Ethan. Predeceased by her parents Robert W. and Flora Bruce (nee MacLeod) and siblings Katherine Carothers (late Clark), Una Martineau (late Dan), Bayne Bruce (Beth) and survived by her sisters Myra MacDonald (late Tom), Beverly McLean (Tom) and Linda Murray (Bill). Predeceased by her brother and sisters-in-law Helen Golec, Ted MacKay, Florence Harrison and Jean Viney and their spouses. She will be greatly missed and fondly remembered by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

A Celebration of Life for Eileen will take place at a later date and she will be laid to rest with her husband Robert at Port Findlay Cemetery. Thank you to the staff at Extendicare Maple View and in particular the RPNs and PSWs on Ranger Lake who showed so much compassion and kindness.

In memory of our mother go for a walk in the bush and embrace the beauty that surrounds us.
