Passed away surrounded by family at ARCH on Sunday, January 3, 2010 after a courageous battle with cancer at the age of 71. With grace and dignity she followed her heart’s desire to be reunited with the love of her life, Arn. Beloved and cherished wife for 50 years to the late Arnold MacKay (May 10, 2009). Adored and forever loved mother of Ralph (Dawn) and Trevor of Richards Landing. Predeceased by her parents Donald and Celia Burnside and parents-in-law William and Mearl MacKay. Predeceased by her sister Wilma (late Ken) Stevens. Sister-in-law of Austin (Elaine) MacKay and Leona (Chuck) Kohvakko. Aunt Carol will be sadly missed by her many nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews and remembered by many friends and neighbours. Friends may call at the Arthur Funeral Home & Cremation Centre on Thursday, January 7, 2010 from 7 – 9 pm and on Friday, January 8, 2010 at Harmony St. Mark’s Church, Richards Landing from 1 pm until time of funeral service at 2 pm.
