Our promise to our dad has been met. Dad passed away at his home on Wednesday, December 1, 2021. Also known as the Pioneer of Pentagon.
Loving husband of the late Betty. Beloved father of Catherine Hodgkinson, John MacDonald, Dean Buker (Shelly) and Karen Buker (Steve Dore). Proud grandfather of Jesse, late Kassandra, Brooklyn and Torin and great grandfather of Destiny, Adrian and Issabella. Son of the late L.D. and Alice Ruth MacDonald. Dear brother of the late Clayton (Dawn) and extreme protector of his baby sister Beverly Gaines (Henry). Special uncle of Robb, Kirk and Lynn MacDonald, Dan and the late Audrey Gaines and Sharon Franklin and families.
Frank was a lifetime member of the Amateur Radio Club, the Masonic Temple and the Algoma Rod and Gun Club.
At Frank's request, there will be no funeral services. A private graveside service will be held in the spring. Memorial contributions (payable by cheque or online) to the Heart & Stroke Foundation would be greatly appreciated.
