A limb has fallen from our family tree. David passed away peacefully at home on St. Joseph Island on Sunday, March 20, 2022. Loving husband and best friend of Doreen for 62 years. Father of Denise & Brian Maguire, Patricia & Egidio Secondi and Heather & Scott Gjos. Proud grandfather of Brittany & Andrew, Nathan & Ellen, Alicia & Andrew, Jordan & Andrea, Adam & Amy, Allyson, and Spencer. Great grandfather of six. Last surviving of five siblings. Brother-in-law of nine. Survived by Norma MacDonald, Donna Chapin, Marilyn Potruff, Ron Oros and Russell Hope. Uncle of many nieces and nephews. David’s lifelong passion evolved around motor mechanics including teaching, vehicle inspector and paralegal. David was Mr. Fix It Man to many and a friend to all. He was a collector of tractors, and he was particularly proud of his 1970 Buick Electra convertible.
