Barry passed away peacefully at ARCH on February 23, 2024, at the age of 84.
Survived by his wife of 58 years, Rosemary, daughter Vaughn, his son Roy (Fausta) and his 2 “favourite” granddaughters Maddie and Christina of Metamora, Illinois.
Predeceased by his parents Roy and Elizabeth.
Barry was born in Thunder Bay, Ontario, moving with his young family to Sault Se. Marie in 1970. He began his 24 year very rewarding career as a consultant with the Algoma District School Board.
Thank you to Barry’s ‘special’ home care nurse, Cindy, as well as Bayshore nurses and CBI Home Health psw’s for the care given to him.
Thank you to Dr. Spadafora and Dr. Booth for their caring and extra time spent with Barry and the family.
Great appreciation and thanks to the wonderful staff at ARCH.
A private family service will be held at a later date in Washington, Illinois.
