Peacefully passed away at ARCH on Sunday, March 24, 2013 at 1:45 pm in his 93rd year. Predeceased by his wife Priska of 35 years. Loving father of Alexy Wisniewski of Edmonton, Maria Wishnewsky and Anna-Roza Wishnewsky. Cherished Dido of Ariane Begley (Dan), Chad Laroue (Leslie) and Michael Wisniewski. Great Dido of Nathaniel (Ricki), Chelaina (Ben), Felicity Begley and Dalton Laroue. Ivan is also predeceased by his brothers and sisters from the Ukraine. Survived by many nieces and nephews from the Ukraine. Friends may call at St. Mary’s Ukrainian Church on Thursday, March 28, 2013 from 9 am until time of Funeral Mass at 10 am. Rev. Jaroslaw Lazoryk officiating. Interment Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. Memorial contributions to the St. Mary’s Ukrainian Church would be appreciated by the family.
