LUTES, Claude Norman

One month from his 93rd birthday, Dad made his last long haul on earth and parked his rig outside Heaven’s gate. Claude passed away on Sunday, December 11, 2016 at the FJ Davey Home; free of pain at last. Predeceased by his loving wife of 66 years, Helen. Loving father of Brian Lutes (Beverley) of St. Joseph Island, ON, Donna Hunt (John) of Dorchester, ON, David Lutes (Sherry) of Regina, SK and Bruce Lutes (Laurie) of Strathroy, ON. Proud Papa of Chris Gibbs (Jon), Michael Hunt, Jeffery Hunt (Ann Marie), Karen Lutes, Jennifer Ferguson, Lindsay Lutes, Brett Lutes, Matthew Lutes and Owen Lutes (Kim) and his many great grandchildren. Brother of the late Ralph Lutes (late Hilda). Brother-in-law of the late Jean Gilmour, Vernon Smith (Gloria), Harold Gilmour (Helen). He will be missed by many nieces and nephews. At Claude’s request, no services were held. Interment Sylvan Valley Cemetery, Echo Bay on Friday, June 2, 2017 at 2:30 pm. Memorial contributions to the Heart & Stroke Foundation or SAH Cancer Care Fund would be appreciated. A special thank you and appreciation to the staff of the 2nd and 3rd floor of Cedar Grove, F.J.
