LOTHROP, Mary Irene Louise (Daigle)

Peacefully passed away at Sault Area Hospital with her family by her side on Wednesday June 13, 2012 at the age of 90.  Beloved and cherished wife of the late William Lothrop. Loving mother of Donald (Claudette), Eddy (Bernadette), Darlene Hayward (Hayward), Bunny Lidstone (John), the late Sharon, Patricia Charron (Ronnie), Geraldine Guise (Lucien), Mildred Wood (Clarence), Barbara Walls (Kenneth), Stephen (Peggy), the late Robert, Mary Dunster (Kenny), Susan, Donna Sutherland (Earl) Billie, Michael and Judy Couturiere (Ronnie).  She is the grandmother to 32 grandchildren, 37 great-grandchildren and 12 great-great grandchildren.  All of our mother’s brothers and sisters have left us by now, but she has many nieces and nephews that will always remember their Auntie.  Mary will be greatly missed by all of her Bingo friends.  Our mother will be remembered for her amazing sense of humor for she could always make us laugh right up until the end.  She loved to dance and sing and could always hold her on own in a great game of cards.  You will be missed by all of us with all of our hearts but it is time for you to go now and be forever our guardian angel.  “Daddy is waiting for you by the docks now Mama, time for you to go meet him with all the other angels in heaven, he has been waiting for you for quite some time now.  Tell him we miss and love him just as much as we will miss and forever love you.”  The family would like to thank all of the staff at Sault Area Hospital, everyone has been more than wonderful at our time OF need.  Friends and family are welcome to join us to celebrate our mother’s life at Arthur’s Funeral Home and Cremation Centre on Friday, June 15, 2012 from 6 – 9 pm.  Funeral mass will be held at St. Gregory Catholic Church on Saturday, June 16, 2012 at 10 am. Rev.
