Passed away peacefully at the Sault Area Hospital on Wednesday, January 21, 2009 at the age of 80 years. After longing for his beloved wife Joan, he has now been reunited with her. Dear father of Gerry Lorenzo (June), Jamie Lorenzo (Sharon), Jody Lorenzo (Lisa) and Leanne Spring (David). Loving grandfather of Corey, Tyler, Brooklynne, Hilary, Dayne, Jayme-Lynn, Amanda and Christopher. Son of the late Irene & Jim Lorenzo. Dear brother of Gerry Lorenzo (Lola). Dear brother-in-law of the late Jean Kenagy (late Dave), Geraldine Gingras (Pat), Ricky Wallace (Theresa) and the late Bob Wallace (Jean). Leonard was loved by his many nieces and nephews. Family and friends are invited to attend a Memorial Service at Willowgrove United Church (55 Tilley Road) on Monday, January 26, 2009 at 1:00 p.m. with Mrs. Joy McPhee officiating. Memorial donations made to the Sault Area Hospital Palliative Care Unit or the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.
