Dear father of Cynthia Loomis, Douglas Loomis (Marion) and loving stepfather of Wendy Mergaert, Glenn Mergaert (Debbie) Anne McAuley (Kevin), Rebecca Mergaert, Nicholas Huyghe, late Deborah Cartmill (Ray) and Philip Mergaert (Lena). Special grandfather of 15 and great grandfather of 2. Brother of Claire Moss (late Carl) of Albion, Michigan, Nadine Knowles (late Ray) of Vista, California, Ellen Hatch (Dwayne) of San Diego, California and Corydon Loomis (Gloria) of Warwick, Rhode Island. Fondly remembered by many nieces and nephews.
