Passed away at the Sault Area Hospital on Wednesday, April 3, 2024 at the age of 93.
Loving husband of Mary (nee Hotchkiss). Beloved father of Randy (Debbie), Alan (Joanne), late Gary (Joan), late Kevin (Bonnie), Ruth Johnson, Debbie Michaud (Bill), and Greg (Tammy). Grandfather of 19 and great-grandfather of many. Predeceased by his parents Albert and Hazel Long (nee Seabrook). Brother of Shirley Vine (late Bud), and predeceased by Robert "Slim" (late Sonia), Barbara Meyers (Bob), Elgin Long (Marie), Ted Long (Sandra), and Linda Weir (late Frank). Harold will be missed by step-children, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Family and friends are invited to visit at the Arthur Funeral Home - Barton & Kiteley Chapel (492 Wellington Street East 705-759-2522) on Monday, April 8, 2024 from 7 pm until 9 pm. A funeral service will take place on Tuesday, April 9, 2024 at 12 pm with George Wright officiating. You may also go to www.funeraweb.tv and select Harold's name to view the service online. The service can be viewed anytime up to 90 days. Interment will take place at Maple Ridge Cemetery at a later date.
