LOEPPKY, Robert “Bob” Bernard
March 17, 1936 - January 31, 2024
We are heartbroken to announce the passing of Bob in his 88th year.
Loving and cherished husband to (late Shirley for 55 years) and Sandra for 11 years.
Dear father of Gordon (Pam), Judith Labelle (David), and Benjamin (Lisa). Much loved Gramps of Philip, Scott (Marnie), Late Dylan (Chelsea), and Katie. Great grandfather of Aili, Kassiti, Parker, Maverick, and Shae. Stepfather to Late Rod, Johnny, Timothy (Dana) Morrow and Shelley Reid. Step Grampa to Nautica, Geneva, Jessica, Parker.
Brother of Late Verna & Albert Kein, Late Lorraine & Vern Towes, Carol Grier (Eugene) and Gerald Warkentin. Predeceased by his parents Bernard (Ben) Loeppky and Marie Warkentin and Stepfather Jacob Warkentin.
Bob will be fondly remembered for being a kind-hearted, thoughtful, spiritual, GENTLEMAN. He always said, “you can never go wrong, doing the kind thing”. Bob was his happiest sharing Bible truths, as one of Jehovah’s Witnesses. God was very real to him. He was a Spiritual pillar and will be greatly missed. Bob gave the best bear hugs and the firmest handshakes. He loved reminiscing and his wife lovingly joked that he didn’t know any short stories. Bob worked from a young man to retirement at Downey’s and formed a great rapport with many of his customers.
The family is so grateful to the emergency physicians and nurses at SAH. Bob and his family received such exceptional care.
