Oct. 27,1936 to Aug. 30, 2012 - Lloyd (Smitty) is now in heaven after suffering a heart attack at home and passing away two days later at Sault Area Hospital. Husband and best friend of Marla (Cameron) for 53 years. Incomparable father of Michelle & Jamie Stewart, Angela & Paul Krogman. Exemplary, fun loving, artistic Papa of Fraser, Erica, Graham, Emma, Elanna Stewart and Abigail (fiance Kyle Murray), Isaac, Eve, Noah, Malakhi, Eliza-Beth Krogman. Son of the late Milton & Edith Smith. Loving brother of Jackie Johnson (Terry) and Christina Kersey (Jim). Respected brother-in-law of Wendyl & Fran Cameron, Loeta & Harold Black,Vern & Judy Cameron, Susan Cameron & Charlie Trites. Loved by many nieces and nephews. Cherished friend of many, especially those who would go sailing with him! Visitation on Sunday, Sept. 2nd from 2 to 4 p.m. at Elim Tabernacle, 306 McNabb St. Celebration of life at 4 p.m. Refreshments to follow. Donations to Elim's Building Fund, the church he attended faithfully for 70 years. Lloyd lived his life to the fullest right to the end and never wavered in his faith in Jesus Christ. His family meant everything to him and they will cherish the memories.
