July 27, 1944 – October 7, 2006. I’m not afraid of storms, for I’m learning to sail my ship – Aeschylus. Loving husband to Roxieann. Wonderful father of Karen (Gilles), Andrea (Brian) and Thomas (Kristen). Son of the late Roland John Lloyd and Gwen (Lloyd) Hoffman. Dear brother of Susan Palmer and Nick Hoffman (special uncle to Nicholas and David). Grampa D will especially be missed by Amy, Emma, Lukas and Christian. He will be remembered forever, in the hearts of many.

Visitation will be on Wednesday, October 11, 2006 from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. at the Northwood Funeral Home (942 Great Northern Road 945-7758). The funeral service will be held in the Chapel on Thursday, October 12, 2006 at 11:00 a.m. with Mrs. Helen Smith officiating. Memorial contributions made to the Sault Area Hospital Foundation and Regional Cancer Clinic would be appreciated by the family.
