Beloved husband of 59 years to Opal (Kearney). Cherished father of Diane Couturier (John), Guy (Colette) and Andre (Anita). Dear grandfather of Denis (Laura), Mark (Judy), Luke (Heather) Couturier, Michael (Kelly) Lacroix, Tricia and Jen Romiti. Great grandfather of Jordan, Joshua, Jeffrey, Christopher, Candace, Luke Jr., Sara and Emily Couturier, Justin and Mathieu Lacroix. Great great grandfather of Mikaila. Dearest brother of Rene (Lorraine), late Jean Marie (Adeline), late Yvon, Roland (Pierrette), late Laurent (Adeline) all of Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario. Late Emilien (late Douce), late Eugenie Leblanc (late Jacques), Gilberte Perreault, Yvette Bernard (Pierre), late Alonzo (Yvonne), Lucienne Laroque (Patrick), Roland Leblanc (Ernest), Gerard (Alexandrine) and Lorraine Boudreau (Maurice) all of Quebec. Brother-in-law of Gemma Clement (Jules) of the Sault and Edwidge Bernard (late Paul) and Alexandre Kearney (late Blanche) of Quebec. Predeceased by Therese Savoie (Guilmond), Patrick Kearney (Seraphine), Wilbrod Kearney, Esther Landry (Philippe), Georgine Landry (Bernard), Rose Bouchard and Eleonore Kearney. Uncle to many nieces and nephews. Adrien served in WWII and worked at the Abitibi Paper Mill for 33 years. Friends may call at the Arthur Funeral Home & Cremation Centre on Wednesday, September 3, 2003 from 6:00 to 9:00 pm. Funeral mass will be held Thursday, September 4, 2003 at 11:00 am from Blessed Sacrament. Fr. Norman Fortier and Rev. Jacques Landry officiating. Interment Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
