With heavy hearts we share the news of the unexpected and sudden passing of Jim at home in his sleep on February 9, 2024, in his 72nd year.
Loving husband of Brenda. Cherished father of Julie (Lorny) and Max (Cindy). Papa Jim to Lorny, Angel, Eliane, Amy, Andrew (Bobbi-jo), Andrew Jr., Desi, Annika, Louis, Cody and Skylar. Stepdad to Deborah (Glenn), Kathleen, Cyndi. Papa Jim will also be missed by Jared, Aspen, Courtney, Brooke, Oliver, Winston, Jaxon, Cheyenne, Walker. He also will be missed by the mother of his children Angie. He will be missed by his dogs, cats, horses, alpacas.
Predeceased by his parents Herbert and Amelia Lipsit. Brother of Don (Cathy) and Dave (Brenda). Brother-in-law of Linda (Don) Wahamaa. Jim will be missed by many nieces and nephews.
Jim was a well loved and well known and respected member of the Goulais community. There wasn't a day that went by that he wasn't offering a helping hand to someone in the community. His loss will be great as he touched so many lives.
The family would like to thank the OPP as well as the Goulais River Fire and Rescue for their care during this time.
Friends and family are welcome to O’Sullivan Funeral Home on Wednesday February 14, 2024, from 6:00p.m. to 9:00p.m. A Funeral Service will take place on Thursday February 15, 2024, at 1:00pm at O’Sullivan Funeral Home.
