Peacefully at the General Hospital in Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario, with his family by his side on Saturday, December 31, 2005 in his 94th year. Beloved husband of the late Helene Lincez. Loving father of Beatrice Schoch (Walter), Roger Lincez (Barbara), Claire Hurst (Harvey) and Edgar Lincez. Gaston is predeceased by his brothers Ivan Lincez (late Dora), Roland Lincez (late Juliette), Charlie Lincez (late Lena) and sister Berthe Fortin (late Armand). Survived by sister-in-law Jeanne Bissonette. Predeceased by brothers-in-law Edgar Fortin (Marie), Edna Grant (Gordon) and Harvey Fortin (Aline). Opa and Pepere to Walter, Rene (Lorraine), Karolina, Michael (Christine), Kristine (Savil), Scott, Barbara, Harvey Jr. (Laura), Mac (Robin), April (Jim), Jim, Janice (John) and Susan (John). Great grandfather of 29 and great great grandfather of 6. Gaston will be sadly missed by many nieces and nephews. A private family funeral was held at the Arthur Funeral Home & Cremation Centre on Thursday, January 5, 2006 at 11:00 a.m. Mr. Jim Moffatt officiated. Interment Kapuskasing in the spring. Memorial contributions to the Tendercare Residents Council would be appreciated.
