LEPPANEN, Allan Richard

Passed away peacefully, surrounded by love, at his residence in Cambridge, on Thursday November 30, 2023, at the age of 82. Loving and devoted husband of Jean, who together shared 58 years of marriage. Proud father of Elsa Blaine and her husband Danny.  Allan was born on July 6, 1941, in Sault Ste. Marie, he moved his family to Cambridge in 1971.  Allan was a dedicated family man, who will be dearly missed.  He will be remembered for his love of flying and fixing anything mechanical, but most of all, he will be remembered for his zest for life.  At Allan’s request, cremation has taken place.  A Memorial Gathering will be held at Corbett Funeral Home, 95 Dundas St., Cambridge, on Saturday December 9, 2023, from 2-4p.m.  As an expression of sympathy, donations to a charity of one’s choice would be greatly appreciated by the family.
