We regret to announce the passing of 'Charlie' at the Sault Area Hospital - Plummer Site on Tuesday, September 18, 2007 in his 86th year. Beloved husband of Vina 'Vi' (nee Hilderley) for 67 years. Dear father of Barbara Vogel and Nancy Lefave of Sault Ste. Marie and Patricia Lefave of Guelph. Loving grandfather of Kerry Childs and Michelle McLarty. Great grandfather of Sarah, Trevor and Ella. Dear brother of Laurie (late Nan and Barbara), Ray (Phyllis) and Ed. Predeceased by his siblings: Celina Huard (late Albert), Blanche Folco (late Carmen), Mae Hilderley (late Reg Sr.), Loretta Yeo (late Art Sr.), Frank Lefave (Sadie) and Eugene Lefave (Elmire). Predeceased by his brothers and sisters-in-law Violet and Bud Allard, Inez and Clarence Papineau, Reg and Mae Hilderley, Gertrude and Glen Rowse. Charlie will be fondly remembered by his many nieces and nephews. A private family service was held at the Northwood Funeral Home (942 Great Northern Road 945-7758) on Friday, September 21, 2007 with Mrs. Helen Smith officiating. Memorial donations made to the Ontario Heart & Stroke Foundation, Alzheimer Society or charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family.
