Surrounded by her family at the Blind River District Health Centre on Thursday August 1, 2013.  Brenda Leeson-Bennie of Iron Bridge in her 67th year, beloved wife of Jim Bennie for 15 years.  Loving mother of Chris ( Lynn ) of Warren and Lee ( Steve ) of Oshawa.  Loving Grandma to Shyanne, Tony, Nicolette and Natasha.  Great-grandmother of Kaydence, Leelan and Preston (due to arrive in October).  Fondly remembered by her step-children Gordie, Kim, Corine ( Trevor ), Trina ( Brent ) and their children Jake, Lauren, Jun, Chase, Brodie and Parker.  At Brenda’s request there will be no services.  Donations to the Children’s Wish Foundation gratefully accepted.  Arrangements entrusted to Menard Funeral Home, Blind River, Ontario.  www.menardfh.com
