Passed away at the Golden Birches Terrace in Blind River, Thursday, February 5, 2004 in his 91st year. Beloved husband of Andrena Lediett. Dear son of the late Charles and Flora Lediett. Dear father of John (Jack) Lediett (Mary), Vern (Patricia), Darcy (Myril Lynn), Brenda and the late David (Donna). Dear grandfather of Carol (Werner), Susan (Steve), John (Tiffany), Terrance (Aurea), Christine (Ryan), Catherine and Kim (Jeff). Dear great grandfather of Kevin, Kaitlyn, Ryan, Alyssa, Alexandria, Issac and Abigail. Dear brother of Eleanor Keith (late Elliot) and the late Marion Gough (late Ron) and Vern Lediett (late Helen). Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Norm was a life Member of the Blind River Curling Club, Life Member of the Voyageur Trail Association and a recipient of the Ontario Heritage Council. Friends may call at the Menard Funeral Home, Blind River, Friday evening from 7 to 9 pm. Funeral service to be held Saturday, February 7th at 11 am form St. Andrew’s United Church with Rev. Doug Stevens officiating. Spring interment in Hillside Cemetery, Blind River. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Golden Birches Residents Council, the Voyageur Trail Association or a charity of your choice would be greatly appreciated.
