It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our dear husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather on Friday, April 20, 2012 at the age of 91 at Mauno Kaihla Koti. Son of the late Léon Alfred and the late Lucienne (née Limoges) Leblanc. Devoted and loving husband of Marlyn Leblanc (Reinhardt) and the late Vivian. Beloved Dad of Lucien Leblanc (Margaret), Deanna Dalla-Vicenza (late Mario), Kathy Quarrell (Alex), Lorraine Leblanc, Julia Leblanc (Dario Simoncig) and Monique “Nicki” Frair (Earl). De ar Papa and Grampa to his 15 grandchildren, Renee Jannes (Henry), Michele Leblanc (Kevin Bier), Andy Leblanc (Darlene), Janice Skagen (Glen), Peter Dalla-Vicenza (Sandra), Mark Dalla-Vicenza (Cheryl), Hilary Quarrell (Vincent Schiele), Alison Quarrell, Keith Davis (Lori), Matthew Davis (Kim Manchester), Amanda Edwards (Robert), Nicholas Simoncig, Chris Frair (Cailin), Greg Frair (Karina) and Zach Frair. Lou will be sadly missed by his 17 great grandchildren and 5 great great grandchildren. Dear brother of Hormidas “Pete” Leblanc (Thérèse) of Sault Ste. Marie, Roland Leblanc (Yvonne) of Espanola and André Leblanc (Barb) of Halifax. Predeceased by his brothers Raymond (late Jeanette), Roger (late Osra), Jacques and his sisters Jacqueline St-Jacques (late Paul) and Jeanne D'Arc Raymond (late Alex). Dear Step Dad to Marlyn’s children Joe Reinhardt (Brenda), Linda Rivers (John), Barb Reinhardt, Karen Gilbert (Steve), Ruth Romanchuck (Bennie), Kim Drouin (Danny), Cindy Reinhardt (Al Pyette), Mark Reinhardt (Carrie) and Peter Reinbardt of B.C. Friends may call at the Arthur Funeral Home & Cremation Centre on Monday, April 23, 2012 from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Funeral Mass at St. Veronicas Parish on Tuesday, April 24, 2012 at 11 am. Rev. Eric Pannike and Rev. Paul Conway officiating. Memorial donations to Ontario Finnish Rest Home MKK or the Alzheimer’s Society.
