Mrs. Yvette Loretta Stopes passed away peacefully at the Sault Area Hospital, General Site, on Monday, February 3rd, 2003 in her 69th year. Beloved wife of James Stopes for 49 years. Loving mother of Jamie (Rhonda), Anna-lynn (Jim) Ward, Tom (Cathy), Mark (Linda) and Kevin all of Thessalon. Dear daughter of the late John and Evelyn Laundrie. Special Nanny to Jessica, Jennifer, Brittany, Meghan, Cody, Morgan and Marisa. Dear sister of Mary Jane (Gary) Venn of Desbarats, Charlie Laundrie of Toronto, Julliette (Adrian) Soucie of Echo Bay, Cecile (Alfred) Bisaillon of Thessalon, Leo (Mary) Laundrie of Thessalon and Yvonne (Dennis) Stevens of Sault Ste. Marie and the late Wilmer, Rita, Victor, Roger and Henry. Dear sister-in-law of Ernie (Anne) Stopes of Algoma Manor. Special Aunt to many nieces and nephews. Resting at St. Ambrose Catholic Church, Thessalon on Wednesday, February 5th from 7:00 to 9:00 pm. Funeral service in the church on Thursday, February 6th at 11:00 am. Spring interment at Pine Grove Cemetery. Donations to the Sault Area Hospitals Cancer Clinic gratefully accepted.
