LAST, Roxie Sheldon

Passed away at the F. J. Davey Home on Thursday, February 2, 2006 at the age of 89. Predeceased by his wife Isabel in 1986. Only brother of June Graystone and dear uncle of Barbara Trudeau, also Robert Jones (Johneen), Roxie Graystone (Debbie) and Diane Soby (Don) and their families. Mr. Last served with the Sault/Sudbury Regiment and transferred to the Three Rivers Tank Regiment serving in Sicily, Italy, France, Holland and Germany. On his return from overseas, he eventually owned and operated a tourist resort in Lochalsh, Ontario. He retired to Wawa in 1986 and resided there until December 2005. A private family funeral will be held at the Barton & Kiteley Funeral Home & Cremation Centre (759-2114) on Saturday, February 4, 2006. Spring interment in Wawa. Memorial contributions to the Lady Dunn Health Centre, Long Term Care would be appreciated by the family.
