Peacefully at the F.J. Davey Home, with his family by his side on
Saturday, December 6, 2008 at the age of 78. Beloved husband of 47 years to Gail.
Loving father of Chris Ganton (Ian), Mark (Sherre) and Karen Lapointe (Jim
MacMillan). Hugh is predeceased by his brothers and sisters John Lapointe, Gertrude
Murray (late Martin), Mary Ross (late Ted), Bernadette Genetti (late Deni), Rita
Korrel (late Karlo), Fran Williamson (late Reuben), Leona Lapointe, Raymond Lapointe
and Harold Lapointe (Barbara). Friends may call at the Arthur Funeral Home &
Cremation Centre on Wednesday, December 10, 2008 from 10:30 a.m. until 12:30 p.m.
Funeral Mass to follow at Precious Blood Cathedral at 1 p.m. Monsignor Bernard Burns
officiating. Memorial contributions to the Alzheimer's Association or to the
Diabetes Association would be appreciated.
