The final race is over, the finish line is crossed. Cancer has cruelly claimed our NASCAR loving Royce. Surrounded by his loving pit crew on Tuesday, April 17, 2012 at the age of 70 at the Sault Area Hospital. Beloved husband and friend of Linda of 44 years. Loving father of Erik (Melanie) and Cindy Melissa (Rob). Son of the late Frank and Reita Lapish. Brother of Joan Brown (late Bob) and Marian O’Hern (Jerry). Son-in-law of Allan and Audrey Archibald. Brother-in-law of Debbie Archibald. Longtime friend of Bob Smylie, Richard Ryan, Pat Mathews and Beverley Roberts. A visitation to remember Royce will be held at the Arthur Funeral Home & Cremation Centre on Saturday, April 21, 2012 from 12pm until time of the funeral service at 2 pm. Rev.
