LAMBKIN, Althea Jessie

Went home peacefully to be with her Lord on Sunday, February 3, 2013 at the F.J. Davey Home in her 99_^th year.  Predeceased by her parents, Ashton (1962) and Eliza Abercrombie Snowdon (1983), her husband, Alec (1972), and her sister, Mary Elinor Elliott (2010).  Beloved mother of Madelyn Reynolds (John), Gloria Krupka (Emil), and Eldon.  Dear sister-in-law of Bob Elliott.  Precious Gramma to Tim Krupka, Liza McBride (Jeff), Bob Krupka (Noreen), Ron Krupka (Yen), Suzanne Wood (Tim) and Sarah Strano (Jay).  Althea never lost count of or interest in her great grandchildren; Laurel, Dana, Nathan and Ian McBride, Sarah, Vanessa and Robbie Krupka, Owen, Jonah and Sienna Wood, Brenley, Taylor and Teagan Strano, Adrian and Julian Ashton Krupka.  She will be lovingly remembered by her nieces and nephews, Susan Nicholson (Calvin), Barry Elliott (Susan), Don Elliott (Dixie), Joan Carpenter (Dave) and their families.  Althea was born, lived her whole life and had many family members and friends in Sault Ste. Marie.  She taught school in a one room schoolhouse at Goulais Bay and Cody Public School.  She was a long-time member of Parkland Baptist Church.  The family would like to thank all staff members at the F.J. Davey Home and Premierhome Care Services who cared for mom with such compassion and family members and friends for visiting so faithfully.  Visitation at the Arthur Funeral & Cremation Centre on Thursday, February 7, 2013 at 1 pm, followed by a funeral service in the chapel at 2 pm.  Interment Greenwood Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to the F.J.
