George Lambert passed away peacefully at the General Hospital on Friday, March 15, 2002 at the age of 95. Loving husband of over 49 years to Cecile. Dear father of Paul (Sharon) and Carole Barstead (Lloyd). Proud grandpa of Tracy, Paul Jr., Jessica, Stephanie, Stacey and the late Shawn. Great grandfather of Bailey and Elijah. George is predeceased by his parents, brothers and sisters. Friends may call at the Arthur Funeral Home on Monday, March 18 from 7-9pm. Funeral mass to be celebrated from St. Gerard Majella Catholic Church on Tuesday, March 19 at 11am. Rev. James Rent officiating. Interment Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. Memorial contributions to the Algoma Lung Association would be appreciated by the family.
