With great sorrow and broken hearts, we announce the passing of Georgette Laliberte surrounded by the love of her family on Wednesday, February 2, 2022 at the age of 93.
Reunited with her beloved husband Armand Laliberte at last. Adored Mother of Anita O’Brien (Marty), Mike (Colleen), Arlene Kehoe, Sherry McLarty (Don), Richard (Janice) and the late Roland and Denis. Daughter of the late Eugene and Lydia Vachon. Daughter-in-law to the late Ernest and Yvonne Laliberte. Sister of Lucia Lessard (Marcel), late Conrad Vachon (late Yvonne), Robert Vachon (Pauline), Pat Vachon (late Valeria), late Lucien Vachon (Rolande), Claude Vachon (Diane), Rita McGonegal (late Lorne), the late André Vachon (late Ruth) and the late Margaret Ingram (late Don). Sister-in-law of late Alida (Stanley), late William (late Claudia), Eva Baranoski (late John), late Jenny Breton (late Fern), Simone, Linda Tarbox (Larry) and the late Philip (Jane). Special Memere to 10 grandchildren and many great grandchildren. Aunt of many nieces and nephews and special friend to Lorraine Lynch.
Georgette was the strongest woman with a kind heart and was most happy with her family around her. She always had the best memories to share from her long, fulfilled life. Most times you would find her camping, fishing, playing bingo, sewing, knitting, crocheting, and spending as much time with her family as she could. Georgette will be greatly missed by all who knew her. May she now rest in peace in the arms of her loving Armand.
In respecting Georgette’s wishes, there will be no funeral service. The family would like to thank SAH for all their kindness and care. Memorial donations may be made to SAH foundation, Alzheimer Society Adult Day Program or Canadian Cancer Society.
