Suddenly at the Blind River District Health Center on Saturday July 7, 2012.  Fred Lacasse of Blind River at the age of 88, beloved husband of the late Bernice and the late Anne.  Loving father of Myra Plantz (Dan) of Cambridge, Betty McBeth (Ray) of Blind River, Cathy Lacasse-Petras of Kitchener, Fred Jr. and Gwen Anderson (Rick) both of Cambridge.  Grandfather to 9 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren.  Dear brother of John Paul Lacasse (Carol) and Teresa Cook, and predeceased by four brothers and two sisters.  Also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.  Friends may call at the Menard Funeral Home, Blind River on Tuesday July 10, 2012 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9pm.  Funeral service in the chapel on Wednesday July 11, 2012 at 11o'clock.  Cremation will follow with interment to take place in Hillside Cemetery at a later date.  Donations to the Blind River District Health Center Foundation or the Heart and Stroke Foundation gratefully accepted.  www.menardfh.com
