July 23, 1937 - April 21, 2024 - With heavy hearts we are saddened to announce that mom has peacefully passed at the Algoma Residential Community Hospice on Sunday, April 21, 2024.
Daughter of the late Al and Marg Erdman. Predeceased by her husband William “Bill”. Proud mother of Lois Houghton (Richard), Sandra McIntomney (John Glen), the late Brenda and the late Gordie. Grandmother of 7, and great grandmother of 9. Predeceased by her brothers Ralph and Lynn. The family would like to extend a special thank you to Ian and Geri for their kindness and consideration.
Also a special thank you to Dennie and Marion for the time they spent with mom taking care of her, their thoughtful nature and their friendship.
Mom loved baking, she enjoyed bowling when she could, and really loved bingo. Mom was the best confident and will be remembered for making the best potato salad ever.
The family is very grateful to Dr. Fera and the Nurses on 3C for their constant care. A very special thank you to all the staff and volunteers at A.R.C.H. for their care and compassion. The family would like to express their gratitude to their Church family at United Baptist Church for all their thoughts and prayers and are so very grateful to Rev. Gabriel Araba for all he’s done for our mother and our family.
As per mom’s request a private graveside service will be held at a later date officiated by Rev. Gabriel Araba. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations (made payable by cheque) or online to A.R.C.H. would be greatly appreciated by the family.
