Passed away suddenly at his home on Tuesday December 11, 2007; Cosmo La Tassa at the age of 53 years. Beloved husband, best friend and love of her life Maria (nee Roti). Adored, loving father of Frank, Vincent and Anna. Beloved son of Antonio and Raffaela La Tassa of Italy. Loving brother of Raffaele, Bruno and Caterina La Tassa all of Italy. Loving son-in-law of Vito and Anna Maria Roti. Cherished brother-in-law of Rita and Tony Pace. Special zizi of Alessia and Sierra Pace. Especially cherished nephew of Salvatore La Tassa of Montreal, Mike and Theresa Zaccaria of Sault Ste. Marie, Bruno and Victoria Valente, the late Tony Valente, Sam and Rose Valente, Cathy and the late Frank DeSimone, Rose and Nick Romano, Lynn and Cosmo Valente, Maria and the late Bruno Roti and his nieces, nephews, many cousins and friends. Dear Godfather of Elizabeth Zaccaria, Anna Mollame and Domenic Rizzo. Cosmo will always be remembered as a kind, gentle man, who was very giving and who helped any friend in need. He possessed many talents, loved to golf and fish with his sons. He was a model father and always found time to do many things with his children. He was Maria's 'knight in shining armour' and they shared a fairy tale life. Cosmo was his father-in-law's best friend and they shared many meals and a glass of wine talking about the old country. He was the 'world' to his mother-in-law. He has left a huge void in everyone he touched and will never be forgotten. What will we do without you, our dear, beautiful Cosmo? God has gained the perfect angel for his heavenly kingdom. Farewell until we meet again..... Entombment at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery Mausoleum. Memorial doantions made to the New Sault Area Hospital Building Fund would be appreciated by the family.
